TALKING TB

Talking TB is a bilingual awareness and support program that includes a podcast and a community support program intended for TB affected individuals and their families, healthcare providers, and health workers.

Developed as a response to the needs of TB affected communities, this community centered initiative has 3 components:

  • A podcast with leading experts, survivors, advocates to address all key challenges in Tb care from diagnosis, treatment to stigma and nutrition. Link here

  • टीबी पे चर्चा (Talking TB), a community-centered awareness and learning program in 5 languages (Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bangla and Malayalam)  built to provide individuals and families with relevant information on various aspects of TB.

  • A set of informational and educational films and support materials.

Our goal in launching this multipronged program is to inform, support  and empower those affected and their families to address TB effectively As a survivor led initiative, we know that individuals and communities affected by TB often lack sufficient information on basic aspects of TB such as treatment, how to manage side-effects, nutrition and deal with stigma. Through this program, we aim to provide relevant information that is critical when it comes to dealing with TB.
